Two studies and an article to report…

1. From the American Journal of preventative Medicine: Some sad news about American exercise habits. Here’s the money quote:

On any given day, most U.S. adults reported performing predominantly sedentary and light activities. The greatest prevalence for reported moderate activities was food and drink preparation for both men (12.8%) and women (37.63%), and overall only 5.07% report any vigorous-intensity activity.

Sigh.

Study 2: BBC reports a a review of 10 previous trials by Bern University in Switzerland. Turns out the most popular supplements for joints don’t work.

Another sigh.

Finally, our article from New York Times Health section: Teaching Doctors about Nutrition.

Finally… a glimmer of hope!

Enjoy and happy reading!

Beth 🙂
